Ruby is the special friend I have ever had. Not only she is an Italian that we have different cultural backgrounds, but she values the spirit so much that I am very into what she said " taking care of the spirit is the most important task in our life time."

She came to Taiwan and learned the Chinese philosophy, practiced Taichi and joined Aikido to fully align mind-body-spirit. However, she is not good at money management that at times, she has to live on the support of friends. To me, she is lucky to have met nice Taiwanese friends while she is audacious in pursuing what she yearns for, at any cost.

Being alive, she once replied, is what I bear in mind: to truly recognize what I feel- happy, sad, angry so that I might want to laugh, cry, revenge; however, these are all fine as long as I am fully aware of these fleeting emotions and remember they are just illusions, so letting go isn't that difficult. I think from Ruby, I learn to be a life warrior.
